Sirena Claxon, LPC

Sirena specializes in working with anxiety, panic, depression, mood disorders, and self-injurious behaviors, particularly with adolescents, and young adults. She utilizes a blend of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Unified Protocol Therapy

Sirena has been in the therapy field for 8 years and has a variety of prior work experiences in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings. Sirena currently works full time at an AHN outpatient clinic, and has a history working with Western Psychiatric Hospital.

Sirena is from Pittsburgh and still lives in the area. In her free time, she enjoys working out, watching sports, being a plant mom, trying new restaurants, and binging television shows.

Kathy McGrath, LPC

Kathy specializes in EMDR therapy and trauma, particularly (but not limited to) LGBTQIA+, transgender people and those who love them. She utilizes a blend of treatment modalities, including person-centered, Gestalt, narrative, EMDR therapy, and mindfulness.

Kathy has been in the therapy field for 6 years and has a history of working at the Persad Center in Pittsburgh. She currently works full time offering outpatient therapy services as well as LPC supervision.

Kathy is from Oakmont, PA, and still lives in the Pittsburgh area. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, binge watching shows, and volunteering with Daisy Joy the service dog.

Skukura Woods, LPC

Skukura specializes in helping adults with life transitions, grief, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, stress management, and depression. She utilizes an integrative, person-centered framework that highlights solution-focused techniques, somatic practices, liberation-psychology philosophy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

Skukura has been in the therapy field for 5 years and currently works at Intimate Ascension as an academic and employment coach for adults with disabilities. Additionally, Skukura is a registered tantra yoga teacher, facilitating individual and group workshops virtually and in-person. Before becoming a therapist, Skukura in higher education for 5 years, serving in various roles that focused on cross-cultural communication and mediation, leadership development, and personal transformation.

Skukura is from Los Angeles, California and currently lives in the Pittsburgh area. In her free time, she loves trying new restaurants, cooking, creative writing, gardening, taking walks, and spending time with loved ones.

Anni Frick, LPC

Anni specializes in working with couples, relationship issues, life transitions, mood disorders, anxiety, and offers LPC supervision. They prefer working with LGBTQ+, kink, and ethical non-monogamy clients. Annni is trained in and utilizes a blend of treatment modalities, including Imago, Gottman, Existential, Gestalt, and Person-Centered

Anni has been in the therapy field for 5 years and has a variety of prior work experiences. Anni currently works full time at the Persad Center in Pittsburgh, and has past work experience at the Olean General Hospital.

Anni is from Chambersburg, PA, and currently lives in the Pittsburgh area. In their free time, Anni enjoys seeing live music, playing with their cats, spending time with friends, reading, traveling, and going to the beach.

Rachel Herndon, LCSW

Rachel specializes in working with depression, anxiety, and OCD, particularly with adolescents and young adults. She utilizes a blend of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

Rachel has been in the therapy field for 5 years and has a variety of prior work experiences in intensive behavioral health services, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Rachel currently works full time at the Wexford OCD Outpatient program supporting adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, safety concerns, ADHD, trauma, OCD, dysfunctional family and relational issues, and difficulty navigating life stressors.

Rachel is from Pittsburgh and briefly lived in North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys painting, drawing, playing piano, cycling, cooking, reading, board games, and hiking.

Daisy Joy, Therapy Dog

Daisy is a Certified Therapy Dog through ATD who assists Kathy McGrath in therapy sessions. Daisy’s preferred population is working with anyone who enjoys working with anyone who gives good scratches behind her ears. Daisy can be an effective support by just being in the room!

Daisy has been a therapy dog for 3 years. She assists in individual therapy, and volunteers at the Pittsburgh International Airport and Chatham University 

Daisy is a Golden Retriever and Bernese Mountain Dog mix. In her free time, she loves to take naps, eat snacks, and chase squirrels.
